How to Build an Analytics Stack That Actually Tells You What's Working

Most companies have data but no answers. Here's the difference between a messy analytics setup and a well-configured stack, and how bdcode_ builds the latter.

There is a phrase we hear constantly from companies that have been collecting data for months or years: 'We have all this data but we do not really know what to do with it.'

The most common analytics problem

  • Clear events: every meaningful user action tracked as a named event with consistent properties; taxonomy deliberate and documented.
  • Defined funnels: key journeys modelled so you see conversion at each step, drop-off, and change over time and segments.
  • Actionable dashboards: every metric should answer a question that changes how someone acts.
